Bidra med feedbackIf you ever find yourself in the area you might as well take the opportunity to hang out with the locals. This place offers a very affordable daily menu composed of four dishes. For each plate you get to choose your favourite: starter (fresh salad, olives crisps, bread aioli), 1st plate (choose one: paella, gazpacho manchego others), 2nd plate prepared on the open grill (choose among beef, pork, fish, lamb, chicken depending on availability), dessert (choose among many traditional Spanish treats) coffee/tea. Wine, beer or soft drink is also included in the menu. The only downside is that it can get pretty noisy at peak hours, but weirdly enough, it adds to the charm.
Had a bit of difficulty finding it as you can't see it from the road, but look out for the turning for the tile factory. Great value menu del dia. Individual portion of salad followed by a good choice of starters, main meals, and puddings. The hake and the pork chops were lovely. Wine and coffee included in the price (currently €12).
One of the best menu de Dias in the area. The food is always excellent and the meat cooked on the open grill is fantastic. Try it any day or for a special meal join the Spanish at the weekend or fiesta day.
