Kent Town Hotel - Adelaide

We have eaten in the Jungle before so expected similar quality of food ... We were wrong. Barramundi was terrible. Small portions of dry salty and cold fish and a cold few chips. Schnitzels are small and processed and the few chips on the plate were cold. Disappointing :(

Great authentic French food for a very reasonable price. Waiters only speak a small amount of English but it was definitely worth the small language barrier

I've dined here twice and tried both the meat and vegetarian options. I had one of the best dining experience for choosing the meat option and I recommend this to any one who love their meats. The environment and vibe is fantastic and innovative! However I was a bit shocked to have an entire different dining experience on the vegetarian option. Food service came out slower and waitresses/waiters got mixed up by offering meat to me. I was also served the starter which contained meat and not the salad. Price for the vegetarian was over-priced for what was offered... Salad starters and a platter of noodles and vegetables for main.

Enjoyable, slightly overrated but overall we didn 't find sound or a lack of service as a problem, I would recommend it to families with children in terms of it being more 'kid friendly ' than some single couple 's would prefer. (Mind the blurred photos)

My friends and I had nice meals here Friday night and nothing was too much for the bar and the food staff. Alan was particularly welcoming and friendly and purchased some seafood sauce for a friend salt n pepper squid. Food quality was a high standard and we liked that we could see the cooks at work. The outdoor and cafe bar... there is even a selection of desserts. Great parking too.
