The selection of sharing plates was delightful. A decent mix of vegetarian and meat lovers dishes. Highlights included the cheeseburger spring rolls, Mac and cheese, the cheesy mushrooms and the pumpkin and chickpea dish. I’ve been told their menu changes recently that’s why we couldn’t find one online, which makes perfect sense. Great range of drinks with a bottomless coffee/soft drink option. Atmosphere is exactly what you’re after for a late night meal with friends. Haven’t been to a better restaurant in Glenelg in many many years. Highly recommended.

Another delicious meal great atmosphere enjoyed this evening thank you. Can't decide what my favourite dish was... maybe the zucchini, the watermelon haloumi, the Texas toast, t bone, ice burg salad, cheeseburger egg rolls or maybe it was the whisky sours? all so good!

Loved the decor...very retro! Food was really really tasty and the service, provided by Jay, was excellent! Would thoroughly recommend for a casual meal or just a drink and listen to some great music

Love the vibe at Short Order. They have created an American inspired menu and offer breakfast, lunch and dinner so anytime is a good time to eat there! I had a delicious breakfast and had to come back for lunch today! Great for all visitors and even tables outside for those with dogs like us. Thank you Sam and J for consistent delicious meals and friendly service. See you again soon!

Great place for drinks and food -a small or large as you like. Reasonable prices. Atmosphere. And fantastic music the night we were there -funk, disco and soul.
