Bidra med feedbackThis is, without a doubt, the best mushroom dish I have ever tasted! The staff were also fantastic. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to others.
I am from Melbourne and I have to say that I absolutely loved my experience at NOLA Adelaide. The vibe and ambiance of the restaurant are cool, relaxed, welcoming, and unpretentious. The decor is subtle and not overly trying hard, unlike some Melbourne restaurants that try too hard to be different. The drinks menu is extensive, especially if you enjoy Whisky. The food is delicious in its simplicity. I highly recommend the fried chicken tater tots, which were cooked perfectly and served piping hot and fresh. The dishes were not over-seasoned or overly complicated with unnecessary ingredients. Overall, NOLA Adelaide has done an excellent job and we were very pleased with our experience. I would suggest that some light Cajun music be played in the background upstairs for added ambiance, as it was a bit too quiet for my liking. Our French waiter was attentive and the customer service was faultless.
Nola is a consistently great place to go. The staff are always awesome and they always have something new on their menu. They also encourage you to try new things which I like. Excellent beer selection with a huge whiskey menu. Small wine list. The menu is excellent everything looks appetising. The fried chicken is a must have. Great stuff coming out of a tiny kitchen.
Perfect spot to hang out with friends on a Friday Saturday night or a weekend afternoon. Delicious fried chicken paired with a nice cocktail or whiskey or cold beer- what more can you ask for. Great service .. good music. Really I have nothing bad to say !
The boneless fried chicken was deliciously crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a hint of garlic. It was flavorful enough on its own that the sauce it came with was not necessary. In addition to the fried chicken, we also tried the Beef Brisket and Pork Po Boy - a traditional Louisiana sandwich that I was pleasantly surprised to find on the menu. The beef brisket was my favorite, with a delicious BBQ flavor and a side of Jalapeno corn bread that I had always wanted to try. The Po Boy was just as satisfying, with a fluffy yet crisp bread. Feeling overwhelmed by the extensive drink menu, we asked one of the friendly staff members for a suggestion. They recommended a whisky sour with a twist for us girls, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We also tried a cocktail made with Moonshine, which was a hit as well. The atmosphere at NOLA is charming and inviting, with rustic decor and warm tones throughout. There are cozy seating areas both upstairs and downstairs, allowing for a sense of privacy. Overall, NOLA offers authentic southern cuisine that is worth the price, especially in a city like Adelaide where such food is hard to come by. East-End visitors must make it a point to visit NOLA.
