La Vela - Acapulco de Juárez

We were looking for a nice place to celebrate New Year's day. We stayed in Las Brisas and they have a wonderful restaurant named Bella Vista, the dinner price was 2900 pesos and it included 4 course dinner, open premium bar, live band, etc. The price for each children was 1200 mexican pesos. Some friends told us about Camino Real, and we decided to go with them. For our surprise, when we got there, our table was far far away from the party, the restaurant is on the beach, then there was the dance floor and in the swimming pool area there was our table. We couldn't even see downstairs or listen to the music.The sevice was the worst! The food was good though. But the worst part was that the price was higher! We payed 2600 for each adult and 1400 for each child! NO OPEN BAR! And if you wanted to take your own wine you had to pay 400 pesos for each bottle you had. For example, if your bottle of wine cost 400 pesos plus the 400 pesos fee, you ended paying 800 pesos.We had to beg for food for our children because they were not going to give them any food. And they just gave them the main course, no soup, no desert, not even a free cup of water.I was very disappointed, beacuse I trade gold for nothing! I wish I would had dinner in Bella Vista.I really don't like when the people try to take advantage of the situation.
