Sonic Drive-in - Abilene

Such great amazing customer service! Employee who I’m assuming may have been the manager went about above beyond! I asked if they had Fritos Pies he said no but they had junior wraps to which I said no thank you I was done with my order. He proceeds to say he can do one without the tortillas! I said yes please and thank you, it was super yummy! Thank y’all so much Sonic!!!

Sonic is practically as American as apple pie. I have visited many Sonic Drive Ins and have had a variety of experiences some exceptional; some not so great. The one I am reviewing here is just a few blocks from me and I stop in about once a month. The carhops are friendly, the food is always tasty, and I enjoy trying their special drinks. I wish they would bring back the apple pie shake! The down side of all Sonics now is the absence of 50s and 60s period music coming from the speakers, and, at least, one or two carhops on roller skates.

Went with a couple of friends and got a chocolate shake. Pretty good shake. Prices were average for the economy.

The people here are very nice most of the time! They do take a while, so its normally over a 20 min wait if you're going around lunch. I normally get a double cheese burger from here and the buns will be kind of soggy because they're sat out. Sometimes the tots will come out cold too. They've had a handful of lots closed because the machine is broken, but you can't tell until you pull in and see the little paper they have taped on the screen.

The drinks where good but the food was alright the gravy was salty and had to wait 10 minutes for it also the the toast wasn't toasted other than that was good
