Denny's - Aberdeen

We had a family event in the area and for some reason I got hungry when we’re ready to packed back home. And since it is a long drive back and this location is on our way, we made a pitstop. We got all American slam, Berry Van Crepe and soup (coz it’s a bit chilly). All good and satisfying. Then we got coffee and strawberry banana to washed it off. Downside is this location is way way too slow! It took them at least 20mins. to serve our order when in fact at that time it’s not even that busy. And the server aren’t the friendliest either. So here you go…

Nov. 2022 Update Food was good. Flavorful and hot which is great. They still haven't figured out that if you're going to put something in a bowl then you should provide a spoon. Overall seems to be better than last time. Surprisingly this is the only Denny's that I've been to that you actually get your food hot, even when it's slow. Other Denny's could be really slow and the food comes out cold to luke warm at best. Straws are not offered for your drinks, you have to specifically ask for them. Spoons are not provided with a bowl of corn, and a fork and knife do not function as consuming utensils for such a small bowl so you might as well prepare to lick it out like a dog. And common sense says provide butter for the corn, but again, not an item provided until you ask for it. And yes, you can spray a cleaning solution on the table and chairs all you want, but unless you wipe it down with water afterwards it's still sticky and since still using the same dirty rag you wipe the other tables and seats, you're just spreading food and germs around, not actually cleaning.

They don't have many veggie options except waffles, pancakes and burger with plant based patty. I got the spicy skillet and replaced the meat with the plant based meat. Fries had this weird taste like the oil had to be changed, must have been in use for many hours. I would give a 3 rating, but giving an extra point for the amazing server we had.

This Denny's was one of the best I've visited. The staff was super friendly. I didn't wait long to get seated, or to get my drinks. The waitress was patient with me as I went through the menu. The prices were affordable. The food arrived quickly, and the quality was amazing. Overall, the place was very clean, and inviting. If you are in Aberdeen WA, and looking for a good place to eat, with friendly staff, clean facilities, and affordable food, give Denny's a try.

This location was really clean and nice. The staff is really attentive and friendly, and the food was on point. Highly recommend the Strawberry Dream Cakes while they're on the menu.
