Bidra med feedbackA run of the mill decor in a sllepy town ust outside of Milan's outer fringes. Inside, we found fresh and clean dishes of Neapolitan inspiration and good service. We had Paccheri with porcini and grilled swordfish. A bottle of Vermentino set us back €20, a bit on the pricey side. Coffee and mirto were complimentary, though the first would heve been better off purchased elsewhere, as is often the case in restaurants. The owner is a pleasant and courteous lady, second generation Neapolitan transplant into Lombardy.
We stopped in our trip to Genoa for a late dinner! The food was of average quality and the most worse was risotto and deserts! The wine was very expensive for such kind of restaurant! The service was very good!
We discovered the place on our first night and eat there all our dinners. Food is just great, best pizza I had in Italy. The sfoglio is their speciality seafood pasta wrapped in a pizza dough the ultimate Italian food : No wi fi , so it's a perfect place to actually enjoy the food and have a conversation.
As soon as anybody in the neighborhood commented quite positively the place, I took my chance and tried once either. The place is well furnished, even if space among tables is really tiny; the menu is quite varied, and what we tasted (pizza and pasta) was good, even if it lacks something to be excellent. However, what is completely out of tunes here is the service: below the average, absolutely not satisfactory. I understand that in the weekend the place is very loaded, but kindness and manners should be standard, not an optional... pitiful...
Well-well... few friends of mine suggested me to try this as an option to spend to stay in town. I have to say, this was not really a astonishing experience... Place is average, very crowded, whether the service is quite fast and kind. Pizza is average, as the main courses... I expected a bit more from this kind of cost-benefit... said that, I will give it a chance again, maybe in few months...
