Bidra med feedbackStopped here for an impromptu lunch whilst on a day trip from Belgium. We are English and waitress spoke perfect English! She was so helpful and delightful! Really delicious food that the whole family enjoyed fresh, tasty and different! We bought a loaf too on leaving and it was to die for!!! Hope to return one day :
This is a bakery, located in the center of Aachen (next to the Elisenbrunnen), with a seating area and a terrace. There is no toilet and it is self-service. They have excellent and generous sandwiches. Soft drinks is served in bottles. The cappuccino had nice foam and tasted fine. All in all a good place for a sandwich or a piece of cake.
My partner, youngest daughter and I stopped at Kickartz for lunch. Instead. we selected coffee plus several superb pastries and desserts. Literally, there was a consensus that they were the very best and reasonable priced.
This is a great little bakery with 10 or so tables where you can buy nice sandwiches (we had the schnitzel ones and they were delicious; and the price was excellent: around 3 euros). We also popped up for coffee and cake; we have a very nice apple streusel.
It's not the cheapest place for a coffee and pie in Aachen, but their quality is good, service is friendly and value for money is okay. With a bit of luck, you can have a table, ovelooking the opposite Elisenbrunnen.
