Bidra med feedbackMenu has pictures of most of their dishes. Good patacones and decent grilled meat. Ajiaco loaded with chicken but was extremely thick which is not the recipe. If you are Colombian or have traveled in the country you'll find this place average at best.
This restaurant offers quality food at right price. Very frequent, when I visit Cartagena, I order food to go. You will not go wrong at this place.
Was a little hesitant to try this place since it didn 't have a ton of reviews online, and didn 't look like much when we walked up to it, but we were glad we did! We sat outside for dinner and there was an Arnold Schwarzenegger...movie playing on a tv screen nearby. I was there with two other people from the US, but one of them had lived in Colombia most of his life. He thought the food was good and authentic. I had a corn and meat dish. I don 't remember what it was called, but it was tasty. I do remember there were two meat options for this corn dish, one was called carne and the other was something else. Our Colombian friend explained that the other meat (not the one called carne was a little higher end meat. It only cost about a dollar more, so I went with the nicer cut of meat. The dish also had a mild cheese on it and was topped with what seemed like potato straws. It was nice to have some good local food. I would eat this dish again if I could find it in the US.
I stay at the hotel toledo, which is located on the hotels outside patio area! The food and drinks are very reasonable and you get large portions of food. i, really like their rice dinners( arroz) Chicken and rice is my favorite dish here! The...servers are very hard working and have good customer service skills!
