うみがめ Zhuāng - 美波町

I haven't stayed there yet, but the summer location seems quite nice. It is also a filming location for NHK dramas. Sometimes, it's nice to relax by the sea with plenty of nature around.

I stayed for one night from 2014/09/11 to 09/12. The accommodation package was the mini kaiseki "Matsu Gozen" for one night with two meals for 8,900 yen. The room was on the 3rd floor, room number 333 "Chidori", but unfortunately, there is no elevator at the national inn Umigame-so. It's a good workout to climb up to the 3rd floor. Instead, a natural hot spring and cute sea turtle welcome you. In front of the parking lot is the famous Oohama Beach where sea turtles lay their eggs. Adjacent to it is the "Hiwasasa Sea Turtle Museum Regatta", which you can visit during your stay. Breakfast is a buffet in the restaurant on the 1st floor from 6:30. I took a seat facing the east where the sun was rising and enjoyed a pleasant breakfast bathed in the morning sun. The standard natto and vegetable salad (full of lettuce), potato salad, salted salmon, salted mackerel, nori, rare dried fish, pickled plum and radish, and miso soup with fish broth were all very delicious (recommended by the inn!).

Showa... a ryokan that evokes the good old Showa era. The toilets are naturally shared. It felt like pressing the flush button with my stomach like in an old elementary school for the first time in decades. They also laid out two sets of futons for us properly. It felt like our honeymoon night. The food was delicious. Cheap. The bath had a great view. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good. The sea turtles did not come, so I want to go back someday to witness the sea turtle nesting.

国民宿舎の時代から数えると、50年以上 続いているお宿です。 建物はそれなりにくたびれて来ていますが ロケーションがそれをカバーしています。 食事も、プライスを考慮すると、GOODです。 テレビ放送が、和歌山局が、ほとんど受信 していたのには、驚きました。 玄関の反対側には、海亀が、泳いでいる入場 料¥600の展示スペースが、あります。 体長50cm〜、60cm位のアカウミガメが 10匹以上、泳いでいました。 入場料を払わずとも、十分に見ることが出来 ました。 今回は、仕事の都合で宿泊しましたが、次回 は、海亀の産卵時期(6月〜8月 頃に、孫と 一緒に来て見たいと思っています。
